I volunteered in Ecuador with a Houston-based christian ministry called Isaiah's Response 6:8. They send many different mission groups every year to Ecuador, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Uganda, and Rwanda.  This organization believes in using your hands and feet to spread the word of God.  

 

I chose this organization because it was a good opportunity for me to get out of my comfort zone and put me in a place I never thought I would be. It was incredible to see the joy that these people had even when having so little.  I was able to learn that serving people and serving a greater purpose is more life changing than anything else you could ever do.
